About Capitol Enquiry

Capitol Enquiry was founded by Ruth Pritchard in 1973, it all started with the publication of the annual Pocket Directory of the California Legislature. This directory, the first of several Capitol Enquiry publications, is now used by thousands and considered indispensable by lobbyists and others seriously working with the Legislature.   In 2000 the company passed to the second generation when Bruce Campbell and his Wife Michele Merin took over the company from his Mother Ruth. In 2008 Capitol Enquiry launched an exciting new GovBuddy web access product ushering in the digital age for the business. In 2017 Capitol Enquiry introduced PolicyGuru.
